Les Calanques

The magnificent Calanques mountain range, a marine national park between Marseille and Cassis.

The peaks overlooking the sea include: the Grande Candelle at 465 meters, Mont Puget, the Aiguille Guillermin, and the Crêt Saint-Michel. But above all, the calanques that cut deep into the white limestone all the way to the sea: Sormiou, Morgiou, Sugiton and its Pierres Tombées, the Œil de Verre, the Anse des Enfers, the Eissadon, Port-Miou, and Port-Pin... all the way to the Bay of Cassis, which frames this wild coastline, ranked among the most beautiful in Europe.
